fou4s tells me there is a new kernel, you does not see it, who's right?
Hi Richard,
I found the kernel sources for the new kernel update: kernel-source-2.4.20.SuSE-95.i586.rpm Now how may I FTP the RPM to my machine?
I know about APT, but I just need to FTP it
As you can deduct from the list, the srpm is provided via the component suse-people, that gives the following clue: ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/8.2-i386/RPMS.suse-people/ The first part of the url up to and including 8.2-i386 is the base for 8.2. All the components (directories) like packman, usr-local-bin etc can be reached from there. -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless
