Would this also work for the DVD's?
I am told that we can install using the ISO files directly. The
convience of this is the ability to caddy a drive into another system
load the software onto it. Then in the targeted system start as linux
run level 3 and run sax for the mouse, monitor, graphics, sound and other
daughter cards. This way I can avoid buying a DVD drive and save money
for more memory. Then I can start doing loads for friends.
Ill buy 8.2 this weekend.
Do you have a script to automate this type of install drive to drive?

Hi,
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=path-to-iso This will create exact copies of the CDs in ISO format (you can burn them later using cdrecord).
Regards, Alin.
