Yesterday, I tried booting with SuSE CD #1, and I selected the option Rescue System.
Try booting installed system. IIRC, it will give you the choice of XP or Linux. Boot Linux, which will be using your system. Open Yast>System>Bootloader, tell it to write it to the mbr, reboot, done
Hello Catimimi, I don't use DOS anymore, just Win XP and Win Me. So, how can I use FDISK /MBR?
With XP, boot to the recovery console, command line, and run fixmbr.exe. This will reinstall the XP mbr and wipe out grub IIANM. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM.
