Hi,
I have a suse 8.0 machine sitting on my tcp/ip network. I have been unable
to get it to print via my novell server - novell printers so want to set it
up to print via tcp/ip to a printer I have enabled for this. If I go into
Printer Manager and add a new printer, select Windows TCP/IP, scan the
network, add the printer ip address which is found no problem, enter the port
and click next, it asks me for the correct driver, but there's nothing in
there it is emtpy. I can select postscript driver but it gives an error
saying no driver available or I can click Raw printer, which it accepts but
when I goto test it says it cannot create a temp printer.
How can I get the correct driver to appear in the box? Am I going a long way
round doing this? Seems really hard to set printers up in linux....
