Are these for dynamic change or fixed change?
As I remember RH had the ability to change the screen size allowing you
to have a virtual screen into which you could move open windows etc.
Does Suse have this feature?

Assuming you are using KDE, go to SuSE work menu>Administration>Sax2 screen configuration.
