I don't know what I changed, but when I hit the logout button in the KDE control panel it no longer presents the "restart" or "shutdown computer" options, only the "log in as different user" option. Anyone see this, or know how I can get back the shutdown? (This is on my own pc, and I'm the only user, and this is not the root user's desktop.)
Did you boot into init 3 (console) and start it via startx? That is normal for that to happen. If you logged in via KDM (graphical), then check the KDE Control Center>System Administration>Login Manager. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM.
