Hello again!
Ok, all, back to my original question! Who knows where SuSEwatcher gets it settings that it keeps going back to dial-up when I have a direct connection with a cable modem.
Who knows about susewatcher as I can't seem to find a manual or other documentation around for it? I can change the config file in $HOME, but shutting down susewatcher, restarting kde or just doing a check for updates, reverts it all back to dial-up connection (Offline).
Is that just telling me that the dial-up is offline or that it needs to use that for automatic checking? I have never gotten a notice of it checking for updates via the icon or anything else. I always have to manually do the check, so what's up?
Thoughts, suggestions, solutions?
Patrick

Since there is no documentation on it and only SuSE knows how it works, fixing it is a little difficult for us!
