You can do this through the KDE Control Center-->> Peripherals--Printers
First make sure the printer on the M$ box is shared.
For the type of connection use SMB.
The rest should be self explainatory.
This is the setup I use here. The wife insists the the printer be
connected to her PC because of some of the printer features.
