Hi,
I can't use YOU, it fails to load the list of ftp server. The error message is: "socket error: 111". This happens when my computer uses private IP from a broadband router, and the router is connected to a cable modem.
One thing to add: I also tried BitTorrent (a p2p software). In winXP it works, but in Linux it produces "error connecting to tracker ('111', connection refused)".
Since both error on connecting to port 111,
It's not port 111, it's error number 111, which is "Connection Refused" as BitTorrent tells you. You need to investigate more to determine the reason for it. Can you use ftp at all from that machine?
