Can not connect to www.suse.de. Check your connection
I have a working connection to the internet and I can ping www.suse.de without any problems.
Ping means there is connectivity, but it doesn't mean you have a working connection, i.e. can browse. If you can ping www.suse.com, then your nameservers are also working.
YaST2 online update used to work while the system was being updated from another location (in Germany) and then all of a sudden it ceased to work when we brought the laptop to Poland
Are you now behind a proxy? Maybe you need to configure the connection with a proxy.
