Yes, that's one way. Another is disabling autocomplete, edit the cell, and switch autocomplete back on.
I have capitalization of the first character turned off in autocorrect. I also took this over to Excell, and I was able to type two with it not autocorrecting.
I don't have excel on my machine, so I can not check (only a lesser coussin) - but I think that when you type something and it is automatically modified, undo recognises two separate steps (typing and autocorrect/autocomplete), so just one undo step set it back to what you typed.
I suggest that you report this to OO.o directly on their discussion list or report it as a bug through Bugzilla.
Ok, I'll try that. I'm using the last stable, 1.0.3 - a friend was so kind to download it for me -, I don't know if the new beta 1.1 shows this behaviour. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
