Stunnel is what I did.
Since how to deal with the SuSE-compiled version of imap-2002 is fast
becoming a FAQ, I'm going to bear my soul and post a link to some
documentation I've written up on it. IT IS STILL VERY ROUGH. I'm not
even half done with the initial page, let alone the final editing.
However, I do have the stunnel stuff online. You can find it at:
http://www.davidkrider.com/installing_suse_8.2.html
If you use this info, please let me know if you find it deficient. I'm
trying to document everything I do to SuSE to get it going so that I
don't have to reinvent the wheel every time I do it, as well as put it
"out there" for others to (I hope) benefit from as well. (But I wasn't
going to post a link until I had it done.)
Regards,
dk
