Working (still) with SuSe 8.1 I am using the KDE control center
regularly for information. I found it a place with a complete info on
e.g. my hardware.
But after I installed a new cdrom I found that the information
supplied is not updated. The new hardware was available on the list
of the hardware but the two older cdrom which I removed from the box
are still mentioned there as available. Looking at some other
hardware products which I have changed since the install of 8.1 I saw
that I have two modems available but only one on board, three
harddisks mentioned but only two which are still there and my mouse
which I changed from a PS2 mouse to a intel wheel mouse are both in
the list.
Is there some way to get this list up to date?
I like the overview but in this state I do not trust it any more.
