That's something you'll have to ask them. Some do it b/c they want to
gather market data. Others do it for QA purposes. In the end, it
doesn't really matter. It's their software and they choose the how and
why behind their distribution methods.
Like it or not we need to respect their license. Otherwise, we're the
biggest group of hypocrites.
