multiple network cards in dell 2450

I'm having trouble configuring two network cards in a
Dell 2450 in SuSE 8.2. It has an on-board network
connection that is identified as "Poweredge 2550" and
a Linksys card. If I only configure one card, I can
successfully configure either card, but if I try to
configure both cards,
rcnetwork restart
says "failed" for the second card that was added.
dmesg also produces the following:
PCI: Unable to reserve I/O region #1:100eec00 for device 00:04.0
Can anyone give me some assistance in knowing how to go
about debugging this problem?
