Hello and welcome aboard the 8.2 world! :)
Thanks :-)
I must first agree with your congratulations to SuSE for their excellent work in this release.
I am curious though, from your perspective, could you give me an evaluation of the Spanish translations they use for SuSE. I have not really looked into it myself (even though I've been using suse since 6.0) but I figure it might be worth turning some of those features on to bring back my Spanish skills.
Translations are like documentation and sex. Mejor poco que nada. Better a few than nothing. ;-) When I first put my hands on the 5.6 box, everything was in english. A few downloads to change some menu entries in spanish. That's all. From 6.4 almost everything was in spanish. Now in 8.2 all the manuals and almost all the menus from applications are in spanish. The spanish we speak in Spain has the same troubles like the english speaked in the UK. Cross the atlantic and you're done. The meanings of lot of words are changed. Good words become bad words, the same object different names, the same verb, different actions. I've believe that you can install all the kde3-i18n- packages for spanish and give a try. Also look at http://es.tldp.org, lot of translations, some real funny some real good. Hope it helps...
