Try using Sax (or is it Sax2?). It has options to add multiple mice, but as I only use one at time, I don't know if it will work or not for what you need. On Tue, 2003-05-20 at 11:15, sjb wrote:
Hi all,
I finally bit the bullet and put 8.2 on my Vaio - ACPI seems to be broken (or partially broken), but I can worry about that later.
In the meantime .. I have a USB mouse. When I plugged the mouse in under KDE it was automatically detected (shades of Windows ;-) and I was prompted to configure it, which I did.
The mouse worked fine.
When I unplugged it, the built in pointer was no longer working. It still wasn't working after a reboot. Using the USB mouse I was able to select the built in pointer again ..
Ideally I'd like to able to use both devices at the same time so that I can use either or both .. does anybody know how I can do this??
(I've just upgraded from a previous linux install where I had both working together properly - but YaST doesn't appear to be doing this in the XF86Config file and I'm wondering if there's an easier way)
Cheers,
