It has happened alredy 2 times to me that 'KDE Lock the desktop' stops working ... I click on it and nothing happens, X reset didn't help but after reboot eveything is of course just fine.
Anyone has seen this? What should I check to find out what's wrong?
Thx, Martin
Are you using an nVidia based graphics card? Maybe you need the drivers updated or need to check your setup with 3ddiag and see if your GL is working or not?
nope, have laptop with Radeon and I'm using the latest drivers. I've upgraded X to 4.3 and 3Ddiag complains about xf86_glx package but 3D is working just fine. Besides this little thingy I'm experiencing every once in a while sudden X freeze after suspend/wake up or freeze after using KDE Logout. I suspect all these issues have something in common but don't know where to start to t'shoot. Martin
