I just installed SuSE 8.2 over FTP. About the only real problem I had was that SuSE's OpenOffice RPM depends on jre1.3.x, which does not seem to be available. James, Don't know what happened or if the ftp didn't install the newer jre build, but my 8.2 OpenOffice was very happy with the jre1.4.1 installed from the discs. It's unlikely that SuSE would not provide a java runtime with the ftp install, so I am wondering what happened?
