I'm replying here so it shows in the listings for future referance...
This issue resolved. I moved files found in the:
/usr/share/doc/packages/nv_glx/usr/include/GL directory to: /usr/include/GL
and re-ran the wine configure, make depend, make, make install and issues
resolved. Apparently I forgot to place GL headers before makeing...
