Hi, Thomas,
I have very bad experience with VIA KT chipsets, they often suffer from certain glitches and artifacts. My advice - try to avoid VIA at all. The headache you might get is not worth few bucks saved. Andrei,
Sorry to hear you've had problems but I run 3 VIA Mini-ITX machines as dial-in and Samba servers (c/w Big Sister) and have had no problems when using any of SuSE 7.3/8.0/8.1. All hardware auto-discovered (EPIA 800 and 5000 models) correctly and uptimes of over a year. Still more run under freevix MP3 player (www.freevix.org) which is busybox-based. Damian
