So far I'm pretty happy with 8.2, it installed nicely and works fine. I'm gonna need help figuring out what went wrong with Mutt though. 8.2 is installed in parallel with 8.1, and /home is shared between the two. This means that my .muttrc is available and is read by both mutts. Something must've changed between the two versions, or else I'm just missing something... I have my mail server (Postfix/Cyrus on 8.1) running in a DMZ. When I boot my workstation to 8.1, fire up Mutt and connect via IMAP to the server, everything is fine. When I do the same with 8.2, Mutt just hangs forever at "Authenticating (SASL)..." I've given 8.2 identical network settings (hostname, ip-number) as 8.1, and I have the same uid in both systems. Ideas anyone? I managed to get Kmail set up, so I can access my mailboxes on the server, and send mail, but I would *really* like to get my Mutt back. (Especially since it seems that the problem I had with Konsole not being able to show the 'threading' characters has been fixed in 8.2/3.1) TIA Jon Clausen -- If we can't be free, at least we can be cheap!
