Dennis, please! The safe mode option gets the system up and running with
a working NIC so the user can debug why the normal boot won't work.
Please go to Microsoft and ask them for a "failsafe" option that only
unloads the particular driver that fails for you, instead of unloading
them all. See Redmond laugh

a working NIC so the user can debug why the normal boot won't work.
