Hi all,
I'm confused about this one. I recently got a radeon 9000 64 mb, and set it up 
for 3d. In Tux racer there was this annoying rolling wave where the tracks 
should have been. I fixed it by copying the module section of Phillip's 
XF86Config into mine.

This was mine ...

Not only did the rolling wave disappear but the fps in gears improved. The 3D 
image quality also improved for the large screen gears.
Can anyone explain how this caused an improvement?
