Hello list, I have been trying to compile my own written program, but having problems with the qvalue list (worked fine on earlier versions). Have installed Suse 8.2 recently and now my program does not compile anymore because of a problem in G++ 3.3 .
Does anyone know if it is possible to install Suse with g++ 3.2
I believe 8.1 was compiled with 3.2. Is that what you mean? If you mean "can I install g++ 3.2 on SuSE 8.2?", the answer is sure. Grab the source from gnu.org and follow the bootstrapping directions. It takes a couple of hours on my machine (dual athlon 1400+)
otherwise, are there any rpm's available for G++3.2 in 8.2
Not in 8.2. There may be some somewhere on the net, but I wouldn't know where. By the way, qvaluelist is in QT. Are you sure it's a compiler bug you're running in to? Maybe if you posted the error you get, someone here could help you
