Thank you! I shall try that and have a good look at cdparanoia - I am on a learning curve with Linux but find myself slowly moving from the GUI way of doing things to the CLI/script route as I learn more :)

I don't think, that's right way. I've started linux, using shell only (even without X installed) and only after several monthes I've installed X+fluxbox. BTW, I'm running KDE now :) Best regards, Andrew.
