I have installed a SuSE 8.0 in a notebook thinkpad iSeries with a card
Network PCMCIA-Realtek8139, but don“t work.

1) "rcnetwork restart" show me this:
Setting up network interfaces:
lo done
eth-pcmcia skipped
eth-pcmcia-0 skipped
INFO: Dont worry about skipped interfaces; they will be set up
dynamically by service pcmcia, hotplug or when dialing.

but me never achievement to see this lifted interface...

2) "ifconfig" only show me this:
lo Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host

but not the eth-pcmcia interface.

3) and de Console show me this:
Apr 16 01:34:51 lnote ifup: Configuration 'eth-pcmcia' has STARTMODE=hotplug: -> skipped
Apr 16 01:34:51 lnote ifup: As we are called from rcnetwork we do not set it up, because
Apr 16 01:34:51 lnote ifup: it was not set up manually or by hotplug before.
Apr 16 01:34:51 lnote ifup: Configuration 'eth-pcmcia-0' has STARTMODE=hotplug: -> skipped
Apr 16 01:34:51 lnote ifup: As we are called from rcnetwork we do not set it up, because
Apr 16 01:34:51 lnote ifup: it was not set up manually or by hotplug before.
