Bingo, this works! As a newbie who came from Windows (I still have to endure that) I am impressed how easy it often is to tweak something by just changing a config file in a text editor. Thanks for the help.
Being a former Windows admin when things like "XlatBufferSize", "DebugLocalReboot", and "MaxBPs" meant something I to appreciated the ability to change system settings in a flat text file. It was part of the reason I moved from OS/2 to Linux (RedHat 4.2) many moons ago. -- John LeMay KC2KTH Senior Enterprise Consultant NJMC | http://www.njmc.com | Phone 732-557-4848 Specializing in Microsoft and Unix based solutions
