Hi all..
I'm working on a PHP mail project. Every time I test it I end up with an email in the mailq. How can I delete these odd emails? I don't want them loose on the 'net. BTW I'm using SuSE 8.1 & Postfix.
one way could be: postsuper -d <message ID> unfortunately you'd have to find <message ID> in order to specify... but well... Depending on the characteristics of the generated mail, there could be several ways... if f.x. there is consistency in who the mail is going to, then you could just have a terminal open, running something like: tail -f /var/log/mail | grep somethingappropriate which will give you the message ID in column 5 every time a new mail enters the queue... -and then have another terminal open to issue the postsuper -d command in. OR, if there's consistency in who the mail comes *from*, well the same as above ;) dunno... Couldn't you just specify a local recipient in your code? HTH Jon Clausen
