Edit: /etc/ntp.conf look for the line # server xx.xx.xx.xx and add a line like server time.apple.com under it where "time.apple.com" is replaced with your time server. Then open the control center and select yast2 modules. Now select system and then Runlevel editor Now select the Runlevel Properties and then find the entry for xntp and select level 3 and 5 and then select finish and close the control center. I hope this helps. Robert N On Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at 01:00 PM, John Birkhead wrote:
Hi, I would like to have my system automatically set it's time using NTP but configuration on SuSE 8.1 is a little beyond me at the moment and the SuSE support database doesn't have any recent documents with configuration details.
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks, John
