My problem now is a /var/spool/mail/"user" file of about 9.7Mb of unread e-mail.
Is there a command to enable a mail client to receive those e-mails?
You could set up an IMAP account in Mozilla to check the mail and 'interactively' delete mail in that box. By the box name you should know the username, you just need their password. This works for me. HTH.
I think that all he needs to do is to: cp /var/spool/mail/username >> /home/username/.mozilla/..../incoming and then to delete the index files. They will be regenerated and all should be well. To be save, backup your .mozilla/..../incoming mail file. -- Patrick Shanahan Please avoid TOFU and trim >quotes< http://wahoo.no-ip.org Registered Linux User #207535 icq#173753138 @ http://counter.li.org
