SUSE 8.1 I'm trying to build gtk 2.2.1. When I run configure, I get the following error: checking for glib-2.0 >=3D 2.1.4 atk >=3D 1.0.1 pango >=3D 1.0.1... Package glib-2.0=20 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `glib-2.0.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'glib-2.0' found However... when I run locate, I see the following files in /usr/lib: =09libglib-2.0.so.0 libglib-2.0.so.0.0.6 which I'm guessing is glib 2.0. This brings up 2 questions for you guru's: (1) Am I right that these 2 files have the library I'm looking for? (2) If so, how do I get the system to recognize them? tia -- Penguins eat butterflies, don't they?
