Exactly. I recall the Tom's Hardware article you mentioned. When I saw the Intel CPU's shut themselves down upon a fan failure I was sold on Intel. Not that I hadn't been for a while though. I haven't used a non-Intel CPU since the Cyrix 200+, the awful beast it was. I'm so sold on Intel that I even switched to thier system boards (I know, Intel doesn't make them) after my experience with Abit boards with failing capacitors. Intel may not make the board, but when one fails I have a new one the next day.
