Fred, I must agree with you. I don't have a DVD but so what. They're
very
cheap now (about $30-40 US) and upgrading is a snap. Besides used DVD
readers sold by upgrade junkies are usually fine and much cheaper
($15-20 if
you look around a bit).
This happens every time with a new release. It amazes me how people
will
nitpick these issues to death. It's not as if they were singled out or
something, or that SuSE is in a position like some other monopolist that
adopts the screw you - you'll pay for what we give you and like it
atttitude.
It's almost like those that complained that there wasn't floppies
anymore.
Most OEMs aren't even putting floopy drives in the systems anymore (at
least
in the US).
It reminds of a saying (puts on flame retardant enviromentally
controlled
armored suit). Never teach a cat to sing - it wastes your time and
annoys
the cat!
<jumps for the door to his bomb shelter>
Cheers, Curtis :-O
P.S. Come on guys lighten up!
