Ok, so this has been a problem for a bit and I can't quite figure out how to fix it. When I try to access anything as root using in konsole sux or a kdesu flag I can't get anything but the root konsole to execute (konsole as super user). Konq and any other program won't go and I get the following message:
Password: linux:/home/crrey # yanc linux:/home/crrey # Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified
yanc: cannot connect to X server :0.0
linux:/home/crrey # /opt/kde3/bin/konqueror Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified
konqueror: cannot connect to X server :0.0
And so forth. anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
TIA, Curtis. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux)

I know 2 possibilities: 1) If you are previously logged in as user xyz then copy /home/xyz/.Xauthority in /root 2) ssh localhost -l root -X Ralf -- Ralf Haueisen ralf.haueisen@pi.uka.de df1iaz@darc.de http://www.qsl.net/df1iaz
