Hi Landy,

I found this to be a very good step-by-step instruction

I know it says it's for Mandrake, but most settings are applicable for SuSE 
too (I applied them on a RedHat install at work). Maybe when you have 
succesfully installed Oracle on SuSE, you could make a same sort of 
step-by-step instruction for the unofficial-SuSE-faq ;-)
