Deal Lists,
I have been looking at TOP and on several occassions seen 2 dozen or more instances of JAVA running. Is this something I should worry about?
No, that's how Java works. Threads, threads and more threads. When the VM is left running after its job is finished (like when Mozilla stops running an applet after you've left the page), all the thread processes stay around. I presume that's an optimisation. -- Microsoft Palladium: "Where the hell do you think YOU'RE going today?"
