cpqarray is for Compaq's SCSI RAID controllers.

The card in this machine might a Fusion device. These have been getting 
popular among Compaq's DL series servers lately. I had to deal with one last 
week, but not with SuSE, so I had to use the rescue disk to figure out what 
drivers were needed.

According to hwinfo, it was an LSI Logic card and the drivers it needed were 
'mptbase' and 'mptscsih', in that order. This also means that SuSE should 
install to it just fine.

To be absolutely sure, I recommend booting up with the SuSE rescue CD and 
running:

hwinfo --storage_ctrl

That will tell you everything you need to know.
