I figured out what was wrong with the paride message. I needed to add ide-cd
to /etc/sysconfig/kernel.

So nowhow do I get k3b to recognize the ide drive for burning/.
I'm running cdrao 1.1.7
k3b 0.8-0
cdrecord 2.01.a03-0
hdc = tdk burner
hdd = dvd rom

Any help would be appreciated.
