SuSE 8.1 and Metacity - Can't install new themes

Metacity-setup crashes on me wheneve I try to install a new theme. Is this because these are metacity 1 themes and I'm using metacity 2? If so, where can I find v2 themes? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
