Hi
After setting up Evolution 1.2.2 and the required pilot-packages to sync
my PDA (Palm m500) the first sync caused all my
contacts/appointments/etc. to be duplicated both on the PDA and in
Evolution.
This happened a while ago to some people on the Evolution-mailing list
and one of the suggestions to delete the duplicate entries was to use
jpilot's dedupe function.
However when I use Yast2 to install jpilot I run into some
dep-problem's:
jpilot requires pilot-link
pilot-link requires libpisock.so.4
conflicts with gnome-pilot and gnome-pilot-conduits which both require
libpisock.so.8
Would it be safe to ignore this dependency? I only need jpilot's dedupe
function once, afterwards I could remove jpilot again...
Or is there some workaround that would allow me to get rid of the
duplicates without risking problems with my system?
I have the following pilot-packages on my system:
pilot-link-devel-0.11.5-7.ximian.2
evolution-pilot-1.2.2-1.ximian.1
gnome-pilot-devel-0.1.70-1.ximian.1
pilot-link-0.11.5-7.ximian.2
gnome-pilot-0.1.70-1.ximian.1
gnome-pilot-conduits-0.10-1.ximian.1
TIA
