Tim,
Network addresses:
eth0 = 172.27.1.1 wlan0 = 172.27.1.2 laptop = 172.27.1.50 machine with internet connection = 172.27.1.3
For routing you need to reconfigure your IP addresses - the two interfaces must be in different subnets, otherwise the router doesn't understand that it needs to forward the packet(s). Change the PC wlan0 IP, e.g. to 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0 Set the Laptop IP to 192.168.1.2/255.255.255.0 Set the Laptop IP Default GWY to 192.168.1.1 Set the PC Default GWY to 172.27.1.3 Start routing in the PC (use Yast2, for instance) I guess that your internet gateway is masquerading, i.e. doing NAT. Unless there are restrictions for the subnet addresses that it will translate this should now work. HTH /Henrik
