Ah. Of course, the easy answer is "use YaST to uninstall", then you wouldn't have the problem :-)
It doesn't matter wether YaST or RPM is used to uninstall a package. They both just tell you if dependencies would be broken. But they don't help you to find packages that do not break dependencies if they would be uninstalled. Or I just can't figure out how to do this. Install for example gnucash with YaST. You'll see many other packages will be installed, too. And when you uninstall gnucash only this package is removed. All other packages remain in the system. These packages are useless and fill up you disk by the time. Fabian
