Been thinking of the same... I have Freeswan machines workin against an
Raptor firewall, site 2 site tunnels.
Wonder if its possible to config freeswan to act as an normal vpn client (
user mode). It would be nice to get reid of the site 2 site tunnels for ppl
traveling with there machines:)

The Cisco VPN client (version 3.6.2) also works well under SuSE Linux., with
a couple of caveats: It won't work with the SMP kernel in 8.1, but will work

with the SMP kernel in 8.0; and before building it, you have to create
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h from /usr/include/linux/version.h and

edit the UTS_RELEASE string so that it matches the output of '/bin/uname
-r.'
