Hello List,
 
A friend of mine has asked that I install SuSE v8.0 Pro on her laptop so
she can take the plunge and learn Linux.  She has a Dell CPi A, with a
Pentium III processor and 256M RAM.  Does anyone know of any problems
concerning this particular Dell laptop and SuSE?  She has a cable modem
for Internet connectivity, how is SuSE when it comes to detection and
configuration of cable modems?
 
Any information would be greatly appreciated.  I am hoping to make this
install as painless as possible so that her entry into the wonderful
world of Linux is a smooth and happy one.
