Hi,
From: Oliver Ob [mailto:ob_ok@gmx.net] Running 7.3 here on a Toshiba T9100 laptop. Ì ran 7.0 before and it worked, but now...:
I would like to know why my mouse is always failing to work after a reboot.
I have installed and tested it using yast and ps -aux keeps pretending that gpm is working.
What steps must I take to make my mouse work on console, please notice that the mouse IS working on X11 (console 7).
But why not on the console? ===========================
Any ideas appreciated.
Do you start GPM? Try "rcgpm start". If that helps, have a look at /etc/rc.config and search for "START_GPM" and set it to "yes". Here's the part in /etc/rc.config: ---- # # Do you want gpm to be started on this machine? ("yes" or "no") # START_GPM="yes" ----
Yours, Olli
