Hi,
I recently bought a Dlink DWL650+ wlan adapter. There exists a binary driver for mandrake linux (e.g. at http://www.zahner2000.de/linux/v0903a.zip). Some people seem to have used this driver succesfully on debian too. Does anyone of you know how to get it to work on SuSE 8.0 (or later) ?
Thanks,
Philippe Bekaert.
PS: the DWL650 (without +) seems to be supported well, but the 650+ is a completely different thing, not like suggested by the type number !!
the 650+ is a TI chipped card... Texas Instruments seem reluctant to assist in the cause (unless anybody can tell me different). Even if you try and order the normal (supported) 650 you often receive the 'improved' (i.e. unsupported) version. I use a netgear ma104 - no problems..... Pete
