Allen, I have been using 3.1 for a few days now and am impressed! I had some
problem getting Konqueror working as root but having solved that it appears
that 3.1 is smoother and quicker. That is a strictly subjective evaluation!
No stats to compare.
I like the look and feel so well that I am getting ready to put it on 4 other
machines including two laptops. Maybe someone else can give you some
objective evaluation. It was worth the trouble getting the little kinks out.
