I ran apt-get after I upgraded my SuSE 8.0 box to 8.1. In the process, PostgreSQL 7.2 got upgraded to 7.3. After I have done all the upgrade steps in the README.SuSE file, I noted some errors during the re-mport of my databases.: psql:SAVE:4690: ERROR: stat failed on file '$libdir/plpgsql': No such file or directory psql:SAVE:4698: ERROR: function plpgsql_call_handler() doesn't exist I also noted that none of my PL/SQL functions were restored, so I tried to load them again just to discover that PL/SQL was not available. So, I tried to install it into the database: # createlang plpgsql template1 ERROR: stat failed on file '$libdir/plpgsql': No such file or directory createlang: language installation failed I did a search for plpgsql.so, but found nothing. The postgresql-server-7.2.2-32.i586.rpm contains it (/usr/lib/postgresql/plpgsql.so) Why is it not part of 7.3? Where can I get it?
