I've set up a logical volume and put a reiserfs partition on it, and exported it via NFS. While writing a few gigs of data to it from another machine, it's falling about all over the place. The logs are full of errors from reiserfs and encouragements to run fsck. YaST2 also fell about while creating this LVM stuff - I did it hand in the end. I thought all this was mature technology, but it doesn't seem to be working well for me.
